*To our Special Benefactors
giving help to Open Heart Surgery Project by Franciscan Charity
First of all I wish to thank our Generous and Very Special Benefactors for their good heart and willingness to provide assistance to save many Vietnamese victims or acute heart surgery. We thank God, our Creator for helping us to find mutual Love in our human society of today.
To save one life, a heart surgery requires $US 2,500. After four years of heart work, as of today 12-12-2007, our Franciscan Charity has supported 404 heart surgery operations to save 401Vietnamese life with a success ratio of 99.3% to save. Vietnamese save Viet lives. I am truly and deeply proud of our Vietnamese Overseas Brotherhood. I thank God because I am also a oversea Vietnamese. With our heart and Vietnamese blood with our special Benefactors we have helped save several critical heart patient to escape death for survival. We further help to alleviate the critical pain causing seizure, unconsciousness, feinting or collapse that is so dangerous to the safety of the patient.
Following post-surgical operations the patients expect re-habilitation for recovery to be safe and healthy. Although the long distance from the other side of the ocean with thousands and thousands miles, while looking at the scar left by surgical incision to save their lives the patients really feel the Deep Love given them by our Oversea Benefactors for mutual assistance. At this point I really feel so emotional as we see, regardless from any corner around the world, our Vietnamese community always display a great deal of concerns for loving each other.
Each day, each time, during the hours of prayer at our Friars Convent I always remember and pray for each one of you, our Special Benefactors, without distinction of faith or religious affiliation. We ask you to continue support our Heart Surgery Project to save Vietnamese children lives who, at this very moment are suffering from poverty and critical illness. Our Franciscan Charity keeps a current waiting list of heart patients awaiting surgery at moment notice whenever funds become available and provided by our Overseas Benefactors.
Please accept our deepest gratitude to Oversea Benefactors for help to save life to numerous disadvantaged human beings. We wish your, Benefactors, your family and loved ones plenty of joy, peace and happiness.
Best regards,
Rev. Hoang T. Trinh, OFM, Franciscan Priest
